It only happens once a year! I have been selected and have the great honor to show my work along with Maria LaFrance of LunaBulan Jewelry at Title Nine Sports for this year's Green Lake Art & Music Walk! It's a free event - more information is available on their Facebook event page linked-to below. Maps for the art walk will be available at all participating businesses Friday evening, 5 - 8pm! I hope to see you there!
Join me in Stanwood, WA for a weekend of tours, presentations, and celebration of the snow goose, birds, and the land that supports these avian wonders! I'll have my bird paintings on display (and for sale) Saturday and Sunday at the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center. Come learn and celebrate with me!
I'm so honored I don't even know what to write here! Except that the festival coordinators for this year's Wings Over Water Birding Festival have chosen me as their featured artist!
Beginning with a reception on Friday evening (where I'll be making a short speech *gulp*), to Saturday in the Birder's Marketplace (look for me by the birdhouse building station!)! Also, a short bird art lesson for children Saturday afternoon!
The loveliest farmers market on the Eastside! Support local growers, makers, and artisans (and me! haha) by doing your weekly shopping at the Issaquah Farmers Market. The quality of the people, produce, and products simply can't be beat :)
I will be at the market on the following Saturdays:
May 5, 12, 26
June 9, 23, 30
July 7, 28
September 8, 15, 22, 29
I'm tickled pink to have been chosen to show my work at Edmonds Vision Center this December for the Edmonds Art Walk! My very last appearance for 2017 ;) On display will be the birds you've come to know and love, plus I'll have some gold leaf edits with me for a little extra glimmer for your holiday and everyday! I hope you'll swing by :)
One last market before I become a hermit in my studio! ;) If you've been wanting to see my work in person, stop by for the Holiday Bazaar at Skyline High School in Sammamish on Saturday December 2nd from 9-3. NEW PAINTINGS & PRINTS - the herbs, specifically - y'know, if you or someone you know needs kitchen art! Mhmm! :)
This will be my third year selling my art in my own neighborhood and I'm so grateful that they've accepted me as a vendor once again! Shop local and find my work and other great gifts at this year's Annual Holiday Bazaar at Samena Swim & Recreation Club - Saturday, November 11th, 9am - 4pm. Me and my birds + herbs hope to see you there! :)
Bastyr University hosts these lovely, intimate craft fairs each quarter, and after participating in last spring's, I'm so pleased to have been invited to this fall's! Find me along with other wonderful vendors on campus in the hallway across from the cafeteria. We'll be there 9 - 5! I'm hoping to have my whole herb series completed by then, but I'll for sure have chives, mint, and parsley with me ;)
Are you ready for the holiday season? I know I'm not! I don't know where summer went, but I'm grateful for all the beautiful colors of autumn, the change in weather, and at long last the return of my beloved Seattle rain.
I'm also grateful to be a participant again in this year's Crossroads gift market! My mother has graciously offered to tend my table, so if you want to hear embarrassing stories about the artist, now's your chance ;) There's usually something for everyone, and Crossroads has a bunch of fun activities for children, so come say hello! She will be there 11-5, and I'll join her from 4-5. Birds, herbs, and handmade cards, oh my! :)
This will be my first year participating in Eastlake High School's annual holiday bazaar! It'll be a big event - over 100 vendors! I hope that doesn't overwhelm you (like it overwhelms me!) - you can come hang out in my booth if it does :)
I'll have birds! and herbs! And I may even paint a few bookmarks for the occasion! Anyhoo, I'll be there 9am-3pm it should be fun, so come on over and say hello!
Well folks, this is my last event of the "summer" season! While I'm crazy-looking-forward to getting back to full-time studio work, it's been such a full and wonderful season meeting you and participating in so many excellent events.
And I can't imagine a better way to finish up than with Birds & Bluegrass! Two of my most favorite things in life :) Find me at the Ridgefield Community Center: 210 N. Main Ave, Ridgefield, WA amid the Birders' Marketplace - Oct 7th (Saturday) 10-5 and Oct 8th (Sunday) 11-4. See you there! :)

If you're like me and the summer heat is wearing you out, why not spend a weekend on the olympic peninsula? Those salish sea breezes are quite nice this time of year :)
And if you haven't been to Poulsbo, now's your chance! The first time I visited, I was stunned by how charming it was - and is. And now, two years later, I have the privilege of participating in their annual art festival! Join me, Friday August 18 - Sunday August 20 for a relaxing art weekend by the water in one of my favorite washington towns. I hope to see you there!
Beat the August heat and join me on Saturday, August 12th at Kirkland Summerfest2017! With music, food, booze, art, and activities for all ages, there's something for everyone on the waterfront. My birds (restocked! new originals and prints!) and I are looking forward to seeing you! :)
I'm pleased as punch to participate in my favorite Seattle neighborhood's art festival this year! It's going to be a wonderful festival - the coordinators have curated a delightful range of artistic talent including yours truly! I'll have prints and originals available and would love to meet & have a chat with you :) Find me in spot F3, Saturday 10 - 5 and Sunday 10 - 5.
See a preview of what the festival will offer at the HomeStreet Bank at 8200 35th Avenue NE! They are generously displaying artist works in their lobby through the festival dates.
I hope to see you there!
I'm so pleased to have been accepted and to participate in this year's Shoreline Arts Festival! It's my first real art festival, friends! And for the first time (ever!) you can see (and purchase! wink wink) my originals - the jewel-toned, beloved birds that helped me reach the place and person I am today. Of course I'll have prints, too! But if you've been longing to give a forever home to one of my feathered friends, be sure to pop by, have a chat, and support your local artist! ;) I'll be there, rain or shine, both Saturday 10 - 6 and Sunday 10 - 5, and I look forward to seeing you :)

Hilary Kamien, maker of exquisite botanical jewelry (Quintessential Arts) and I will be sharing a booth this year at Bastyr's 19th Annual Herb & Food Fair! I'll have my birds, of course, but also something a little different : herb paintings! Culinary and medicinal herbs including rosemary, thyme, sage, yarrow, dill, lavender, lovage, fennel, and more! With all the wonderful opportunities for learning, excellent food, and nature adventures, this one's not to be missed. We hope to see you there! :)
This summer enjoy fresh produce, music, and the work of local artists and artisans at the Issaquah Farmers Market featuring yours truly! I'll be there nearly every Saturday from open to close, rain or shine, May - September. I would love to meet and have a chat with you! I'll have fine art prints and greeting cards for you to peruse, with new works arriving throughout the season. I hope to see you there!
This one's coming up real fast! I have a plethora of NEW prints and I'm gearing up to be a vendor in Blaine, WA for the Wings Over Water Birding Festival on Saturday, March 11th. There are so many wonderful programs throughout the weekend, so if you love birds, want to meet fellow birders, or just want to get away (Canada's practically next door!), come on up to Blaine! I hope to see you there :)
From July 20th to September 22nd 2015, selected pieces will be on display in Odegaard Undergraduate Library (2nd & 3rd floors) at the University of Washington. Stop by to check it out, then cross Red Square to say hello to me at Suzzallo Circulation! Many thanks to Anne Davis, Steve Weber, and the UW Libraries for reaching out and making it happen :)
This feels like ancient history - my (nearly forgotten) first art walk! I wasn't able to attend (hence the memory lapse) but the folks that put it together were fantastic.
